this came to mind randomly

 incident that happened at work a month or so ago.
Me: hello sir how are you doing today?
Customer: doning good [glances at my nametag]..Nic-Loo-can...[lookes closer at name tag] youre from Micronesia?
Me: oh yeah [rolling eyes in my though cloud] hahaha speck in the middle of the ocean.
Customer: aren't you're people taking over hawaii.
Me: um... well its the closest place for alot of people in that region to move over and it looks like home so i guess so i wouldn't really know. 
Customer: yeah... i think your people are moving in masses on over.
 thoughts in my head; 
 -WTF do you mean by "your people" i think now im just going to generalize a population/culture all in the individual from that location
 -are you being serious or are you just trying to sound like an arrogant prick
 -why am i now all of micronesia (FYI there are alot of different sub cultures in that area)
 -hill billy hicks are "your people"
 -get out of my face.
